CCTV Camera Pros response:

All of the specs look fine except that both Geovision and NUUO recommend using a nvidia or ATI graphics card instead of using on board video embedded into the motherboard of the PC. It looks that your PC does not have a separate graphics card so you should plan on adding one. When you do that, be aware that the 275 watt power supply may not be sufficient for the system after you add the graphics card and DVR card. CCTV Camera Pros builds systems with a minimum 400 watt power supply.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank You.
-Mike

These questions was emailed to CCTV Camera Pros:

say I have an 8 camera computer based surveillance system that came with a dvr software and I am not happy with the software. Do you have just the software that will work on a computer and run my cameras? It has a card that plugs into the computer. Tell me what is require or information I need to send you for compatibility.

CCTV Camera Pros response:

CCTV Camera Pros has excellent PC based surveillance software supplied by NUUO and Geovision. Their software will only work with the DVR cards that they manufacture though. In order to switch the surveillance software on your PC, you will also need to switch the DVR card to the particular vendor's surveillance software that you like. I recommend taking a look at NUUO DVR cards and Geovision DVR cards. You can also find more information about each of them here:

A customer contacted CCTV Camera Pros via email with the following inquiry:

>>>>>>>>>>>
We have an old Linux dvr system who Hard drive is defective. We don't have any support for that system. However, the CCTV video cameras and capture cards still work. We need your advise on what software (windows XP based) that we can use for video surveillance and recording etc.

The cards are CCTV with conexant Fusion 878A chipset.

Kindly advise if you have compatible software that will work with these cards and what would be the cost.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

99% of the time surveillance software will only work with the DVR cards that is produced by the same manufacturer and is not sold separately. This is the case with the 2 DVR card lines that CCTV Camera Pros distributes, whcih is NUUO and Geovision. You can find additional information, PC requirements, and software feature information on the following pages for NUUO and Geovision DVR cards:

http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/NUUO-DVR-Cards-s/298.htm
http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Geovision-DVR-Cards-s/27.htm

Both products are excellent and highly recommended and supported by CCTV Camera Pros.
