A customer contacted CCTV Camera Pros with the following question related to NUUO surveillance systems:

When using object counting with NUUO surveillance software, is it possible to have an image of the frame saved when an object is counted? We are looking to get entry and exit counts of a small store (20-50 customers/day) but have the ability to "see" who was counted, as the boss loves using the front entrance 5 billion times a day and want to remove him from the count.

CCTV Camera Pros Technical Support response:

Yes this is possible by also having the motion trigger a motion detection event. All of the motion events are bookmarked so you can see who triggered the event.

Please let us know if we can help further.

A customer recently contacted CCTV Camera Pros and asked the following questions related to NUUO surveillance systems:

We are planning our network bandwidth requirements for a new surveillance system. What video format does the NUUO remote viewing stream in? H.264, MPEG-4, or MJPEG?

Here is the official response that CCTV Camera Pros got from NUUO technical support:

Based on NUUO software v3.3, please see the below reference for each product model DVR card and NUUO IP camera software:

SCB-6000 and SCB-7000 DVR cards: H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG
SCB-5000 DVR Card: H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG
SCB-1000, SCB-2000 and SCB-3000 DVR cards: MPEG-4 and MJPEG
NVR / IP Camera Software: H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG

In this coming software version, v3.4, the remote viewing of all DVR cards will use H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG.

The remote live viewer of NVR uses H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG, the default video format is the same as the source of each network IP camera.

NUUO Support,

We read that the newer versions of NUUO surveillance software can support mobile viewing. Can you please let us know if there is a list of the smart phones that are compatible with the NUUO NVR / DVR surveillance systems? Is there a certain operating system that is required to be on the phones?

Please provide as much information as possible so that customers can choose the right windows smart phones to work with NUUO.

Thank You.
-Mike
