A customer recently contacted CCTV Camera Pros with the following question:

I am in the market for an outdoor security camera system. I noticed on your website and others that most outdoor surveillance cameras have a weatherproof rating that starts with "IP" and two digits after it. I am not familiar with what this is. Can you please explain?
