CCTV Camera Pros received the following question today:

We are upgrading a system that uses a series of cameras to calibrate laser products. We currently have a video camera going into an older style Japanese 6v television, and have a series of these television monitors with cameras attached to each one. I would like to simplify this installation and have all cameras attached to something like your VM-16RT CCTV multiplexer.

Would we be able to use our existing cameras (they currently have RCA connectors on them), and just either put a BNC connector on/install an adapter, or would we need a specific type of camera?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    CCTV Camera Pros reply:

Thank You for contacting CCTV Camera Pros. Yes, you can use cameras with RCA type connectors. You can simply attach one of these converters to each input to make is an RCA input.

Please let me know if I can help further.
