This article references how to setup a network file share for IP cameras WITHOUT the use of a dvr.
- Start by opening the “Computer” folder (can also be named “My Computer”)
Click on “new folder” , name the folder anything you like, in this case we will name it “Zavio”
- Right click on the new folder and select properties
On the top of the properties window, select “sharing”, then select “share
- On the share menu, notice the dropdown box. Select it and then select “everyone”.
Right click on everyone and select “read/write”
- Select “share”, then select “done”
The folder is now shared, be sure to copy the “network path” and you are ready to go.
