    Hi all,

So here's the deal. I'm having serious disconnect issues. When I first installed and setup this system all went off without a hitch and worked perfect. After a few weeks the cams started disconnecting randomly but would come back. As time went on it got worse. Meaning some or all would disconnect and not come back. At first I started blaming the guys network. I noticed the activity lights on the 16 port switch were not staying on, all were coming on and going off. The power lights stayed on. Humm connectivity issue? I took the system off the internal LAN and brought in a cheap old WRT150N Linksys router hooked it up and configured all the cams to a 192.168.1.1 network. So I have both switches plugged into the router now instead of each other along with the server. Heres the thing I should be able to hook up all the cams to the 16 port switch except for 1 obviously because I need a port for the network. Man Ive tried no router and hooking straight to pc, with one switch plugged into each other and now to a router with both switches on their own port. Ah and the router is not plugged into any internet port its a stand alone as it site right now. I have tried running some of the cams on their own power source alongside the others on PoE and it doesn't matter. Still get connection drops. Any info or help you can throw my way would be great and thanks.

I talked with Les today, after further trouble shooting Les has determined the POE-SW1616 is the issue. We have issued an RMA for this case and are awaiting receipt of unit.

    Thanks James
