I would like to have motioned in a particular part of the fisheye camera view to trigger a relay to set off lights via the automation panel. I know the cameras have 2 IO ports onboard but can't work out which card to purchase to have the IO ports at a different location, near the automation panel. Can I have multiple IOs work off the one camera. So one camera view's motion field trigger one port and another view on the same camera but a different angle trigger a different IO.

This way I can have different lights be triggered depending on where the motion is.

    Tim,

I have consulted with Geovision engineering on this question and here is the feedback that they had.

On the relay side, I am not sure how you can trigger multiple relays when the camera supports only two. Geovision does however offer different I/O boxes from 4 to 16 ports each, but these IO boxes require the Geovision Multicam software to control (instead of controlling using the IP camera directly).

If using the Geovision software is OK for you instead of just the IP camera directly, then you can a Geovision I/O box to a Multicam system and use the inputs and outputs to your needs accordingly.

Please let us know if we can help further.
