A customer contacted us with the following question regarding Geovision:
I own a Sony EVI-DV-70 PTZ camera. I'm looking for a new DVR CCA and am wondering if the software that accompanies the Geovision GV-600-4 will support the PTZ function?
In order to control an analog PTZ camera using any Geovision DVR card, you also need to use a GV-COM or GV-NET accessory. The RS-485 or RS-232 communication cable is run to the Geovision GV-COM or GV-NET. CCTV Camera Pros recommends the GV-COM because it is an external USB device and does not use up a port on your Geovision PC. Here are the instructions for both:
