How to export recorded surveillance video from my DVR to USB Drive?

How can I export a portion of the recorded surveillance video on my iDVR recorder to a USB drive that I can bring to the police. We have an event happen over the weekend and I need to get the CCTV video off of my DVR. I am using an iDVR-E4 DVR. Thanks for the support.

The above inquiry was received from a customer. Here is CCTV Camera Pros technical support response.

The instructions on this page document how to export video to a USB drive and use the included backup player software to view the video on any Windows PC. The software acts as a virtual video player.
