I am looking for a Zavio IP camera that can take snap shots / time lapse video. What we are looking to do is to send a camera along with an SD card (over 32GB) to our salesman that he can then put into an equipment room, turn on and let record as they change out the equipment in the backroom. We would like the camera to be able to shoot HD 1280 x 720 but ideally 1920 x 1080. We would also need a slot for the SD card and for it only to recorded on when there is motion. We also would need a battery power supply or something that can be plugged in so that it can record for three days straight. Do you have anything that might work?

CCTV Camera Pros received the above inquiry from a customer. Here is the information that our sales team provided.

Thank you for your interest in Zavio IP cameras. CCTV Camera Pros is the North American distributor for Zavio and we are happy to help you. The following camera models meet your requirements and can accomplish what you described.

Please note that in the above setup pages, the camera can be set to video or snapshot recording.

Also, here is an article that I wrote on how to use an IP cameras for time-lapse photography.

The cameras include a DC power supply (similar to a cell phone charger). However, we do not supply any battery power systems. Is there a a standard wall outlet / power source available in the rooms where the camera will be?

Please let us know if you have additional questions.
