A customer contacted CCTV Camera Pros with the following question:

I am looking for the best 16 channel surveillance DVR and 8 CCTV cameras for a home system. I would like 5 bullet (mounted exposed to weather) and 3 dome (mounted under soffit). I prefer UTP cables for wiring vs video/power cables without using baluns. Please let me know what you offer so I can review the equipment.

CCTV Camera Pros provided the following:

Thank You for contacting CCTV Camera Pros. Please check out our iDVR which you can find here.

We highly recommend it and if you would like to login to one for a demo, that can be arranged. Just let us know.

As for the cameras, here are the bullet style outdoor cameras that we highly recommend ranging in price from more entry level to high end:

Please keep in mind that we discount complete systems so if you let me know the models and quantity of each, I can provide you with a quote that includes a system discount. You will also need to choose between pre-made cables:

and spools of RG59 siamese cable:

If you want to use cat-5 or other UTP cables, please check out our video baluns here:

We also always include a power supply box with our 8 camera systems and above:
