1.) Log into Comcast router by typing https://10.1.10.1 in your web browser. [ By default the Username: cusadmin Password: highspeed]

2.) Once you are logged into the Comcast router go to Firewall > Port Configuration > Press "Add New" Button

    2a.) Fill in the following:

    Application Name: Whatever you like.

Port Range: Port number of DVR /camera [If you have multiple DVR/cameras you will need to make a separate rule for each camera. Each device will need a unique port number. Cannot have multiple devices with the same port number]

    Protocol: Both

IP Address: The IP address of your DVR / Camera

NOTE: If your DVR/Camera is using port 80 you will want to change this to another port since Comcast does not like port 80.

    Apply settings.

3.) Now make sure the port is open https://videos.cctvcamerapros.com/check-open-port-forwarding-tool

NOTE: If the port is open you will use the Remote IP Address you get from the check open port tool. However you will need to type it in as follows via web browser https://ipaddress:port number, [eg. if your ip address is 74.96.36.98 and your port is 8000 than it should look like this when you type it into your web browser https://74.96.36.98:8000.%5D
