Just wondering if it is possible to use an i-phone as a recording device to record video files from an IP camera/s.
This would overcome the need to have my PC running constantly to capture movement activated videos.
Am open to any suggestions as the only kit I have at present are 2 i-phones (3G & 3GS).

There is no iPhone app that I know of that lets you record video from an IP camera to your iPhone. The closest thing to that is the uStream broadcaster and uStream viewer, but you do not use IP cameras with it. You can use CCTV cameras though.
