Remote viewing Connection Error

    Recently my iDVR E8 has stopped letting me connect to it remotely. Either using CMS PRO, or the old idvd viewer website. It is NOT a cabling or port or DNS problem. I've tried a couple dens services, (the default and dyndns) as well as connecting locally. It worked flawlessly for over a year, but has recently become intermittent. It will fail a few times, connect, run for a while, lose the connection etc. I have various other internet connected devices here, all work fine, and nothing in my network has changed. replaced the cable…no change. reset the network info (just retyped the same info) it will wok for a while (minutes) the start failing again. Any ideas? reset to default and start over?

    Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. In case you are not aware, the iDVR comes with a lifetime support direct from CCTV Camera Pros as long as you purchased the DVR from us.

    I do not see any orders in our system under your email address, but maybe you used a different one than the forum registration.

    Please email us at info@cctvcamerapros.net with any one of the following.

    1) Your orderID

    2) The email address used for your order

    3) The name and complete billing or shipping address for your order

    As long as we can verify that you have a genuine iDVR from us, we will gladly login remotely to the network that your iDVR is on and re-configure remote access for you. We can do this Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm EST.
