    Hello Riversoft,

Here is a link to the settings that need to be applied to your Geo Vision System https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Geovision-WebCam-Server-Setup-s/124.htm

Below are instruction to setup your GV-800 & Thomson TG82 for remote viewing.

1.)Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser. By default the IP address should be set to 10.0.0.138.

2.)You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default both the username and password are blank. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

3.)Click the Advanced link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click NAPT. Click the New link near the bottom of the page.

4.)You will need to create 3 different rules.

    Rule 1:

    Protocol: TCP

Inside IP: Ip address of your GV system

    Inside and Outside Port: 4550

    Rule 2:

    Protocol: TCP

Inside IP: Ip address of your GV system

    Inside and Outside Port: 5550

    Rule 3:

    Protocol: TCP

Inside IP: Ip address of your GV system

    Inside and Outside Port: 80

5.)When you're finished, click Save All near the left of the screen to save your changes.

6.)Once you have saved the settings go to https://videos.cctvcamerapros.com/check-open-port-forwarding-tool and type in the port number that you have forwarded. Make sure it is open. If the port is closed proceed to the next step.

7.)If you have DSL for you internet service you will need to call your provider and have them bridge the modem to your Thomson router. This is a standard process.

    Hope This Helps.

    Thanks James
