    Dear all,

I have successfully viewed DVR, over DVR Viewer software inside LAN and remote as well.

But I could not view it over internet explorer inside LAN, i have used 192.168.XX.XX:5400 to access.

Have tried enabling all ActiveX controls on IE, still could not manage to get it.

Any kind of suggestions are appreciated.

    Hello Raqeeb,

You need to setup port forwarding on your router. The ip address you are trying to connect with is an internal ip address. That is why you are able to view it on site. Here are some instructions on how to setup port forwarding on common routers http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Internet-Surveillance-Setup-s/156.htm Once you have have completed port forwarding you can go here to check and make sure the port is open http://videos.cctvcamerapros.com/check-open-port-forwarding-tool

Also if you have a DSL modem and a third party router you will need to call the ISP and have them bridge the modem to the router. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks James
