iCamViewer Setup Overview

Check Compatibility List

Before you get started configuring your camera and the app, please verify that the IP camera that you intend to use is already integrated with the iCamViewer app.

Initial Camera Setup

This section describes how users need to first establish the connection with their IP camera on their local area network using the IP camera finder software that is typically included on a software disc with all IP cameras.

Local Network Setup

After establishing the initial connection to your IP camera on your local network, you should setup a static internal IP address for your camera within your router settings. This makes it so that is your router is ever restarted, your IP camera will be assigned the same IP address.

Internet Access Setup

After yoy have successfully connected to your camera on your local area network, you need to setup port forwarding rules on your router in order to access your cameras remotely over the Internet.
