A customer contacted CCTV Camera Pros this week and asked if Geovision surveillance systems support auto tracking PTZ cameras. This is a feature that allows a pan, tilt, zoom camera to automatically move on it's own in order to track objects that come into view such as people and vehicles. Here is the answer that CCTV Camera Pros provided:

Geovision supports auto-tracking PTZ via software. Users must add a Geovision advanced video analytics software dongle to their Geovision DVR in order to enable this feature. The cost of the advanced video dongle is $229.99 from CCTV Camera Pros. In addition, users must use a supported IP PTZ camera such as these from Geovision:
