    Hello,

I would like to know. How could I delete the OLD recorded files in MPEG4 Surveillance DVR? or How could I format the Harddisk drive of MPEG4 Surveillance DVR? This is to clear some space for recording because I found out that it is already full. Is it possible to do it remotely?

Thak you and your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Ver,

Usually you are not able to format the HDD remotely. Depending on the model of the DVR the Verbage may be different but most likely it is the same concept. If you go into the DVR menu it should be in the Disk Menu or HDD management. Their should be able to reformat the HDD in this menu. Also not you will need to stop recording in order to reformat the HDD.
