A customer contacted us with the following question: I am interested in setting up a live streaming wildlife video camera and was told that CCTV Camera Pros may be able to assist me with determining what I may need. The area that the camera will located has power available but does not have internet access. I want to stream our video in high definition using a streaming service such as uStream or Livestream. Can you help us?

This is the information that I provided to this customer.

If you do not have an Internet connection at the location, you can use the livestream broadcaster from Livestream to provide Internet access and directly broadcasting to the Livestream service without the need to use a computer.

To capture video in full 1080p high definition resolution, you can use any of these HD security cameras (HD-SDI CCTV).

For an outdoor application, I recommend that you take a look at the HD-BL40 weatherproof HD-SDI camera.

You will need an HD-SDI to HDMI converter to convert the BNC output of the HD-SDI camera to HDMI (which is required to connect to the Livestream Broadcaster).

The below diagram illustrates how this equipment works together to enable HD video streaming.

Please let me know if you need further support on this subject.
