What device are you using to update the DDNS service? If your camera or DVR is not doing a god job of updating DynDNS, then you may want to try using this free windows DDNS updater / client:

https://dyn.com/support/clients/windows/

This method requires that you have a Windows PC always running on the same network as your IP cameras or Internet surveillance DVR.
