Hi we have recently set up a 3106 video surveillance in one boutique (Mac usage in company) using the "wireless option" combined with sharing options through our server for external IP access. We have had repeating problems with the camera initially operating as desired streaming image to our office location for about half a day and then suddenly "server is not responding". Every time we investigate the issue it comes back that the camera has stopped functioning (showing red light) and we need to set up everything again (we have fixed internal IP for the camera and 3106 setting is set to automatic finding IP). To exclude wireless problems between camera & router we have also used ethernet cable to the camera and still the same problem occurs, after half a day it stops working and it switches to blue/red and then just red and stops working.
Why does it stop functioning even when ethernet cable is being used – how are we supposed to set this up? What are we supposed to do?
Latest firmware installed, wireless completely off now to solve the issues, camera works short period and then switches to blue and red light whereby it stops streaming image and connection is lost which is very strange as ethernet cable goes between it and the router
