Zavio IP cameras are one of the few network camera product lines that are very friendly to use with Mac OS X. To detect a Zavio camera on your network using a Mac, please follow these instructions.
- Connect your IP camera to your network using a CAT5 cable and power the camera on using the supplied power supply
- Open the Safari web browser on your Mac PC
- Click on the bookmark icon and select Bonjour
- In the webpages section of Bonjour, you should see your Zavio IP camera listed
- Double click on the camera
- Enter your login ID and password. Note that the default user name is admin and the default password is also admin
- Your IP camera should be displayed live
