I have an iDVR-E4. I can access the cameras via http://www.idvrviewer.com after entering address, port, password, etc. Works from my droid and also from a laptop, even from my desktop on the internal network.

When I try (internal network) to connect to the dvr in a browser, it displays the login screen, and then a blank page with a link "Web Server". When I click on that nothing happens. I have tried several different computers, and both IE8 and google Chrome browsers.

    Hello Geodesist,

Please see the Remote Security Camera Viewing Via Internet Explorer web browser here http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/iDVR-iPhone-Remote-Viewing-Setup-s/373.htm

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks James

    Geodesist,

Also the iDVR-E has a free app available in the Android and iPhone app market. It is way nicer than using the web browser interface. The name of the app is MobileCMS.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks James

James: thanks for the links. The droid app is MUCH nicer!

I will try the steps outlined in the other link.
