Geovision Video Is Choppy; Why?

  • Help! I'm using a Geovision 1120 card and software. My video is very choppy (jerky, slow, stuttering) as of late. What could be causing this? And, How do I correct it?

    In the GeoVision System click on the Configure button(Hammer & Screw Driver)> System Configure > Camera Record Settings. You should be in the Camera Record Settings Page,First Select The Camera you want to configure. Under the Record Control you will see Frame/Sec Click the blue arrow across from the Frame/Sec. You should now be in the Rec. Frame Rate Settings. Check both boxes off and set the frame rate to a higher number and that will give you a smoother picture. You will have to repeat this for all of your cameras .
