KeymasterIf your password is not working, most DVRs have an override password reset or master password that enables you to login to the DVR to reset the password. For example, here is a link to a page that shows you how to reset your password on iDVR-PRO CCTV DVRs.
https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/iDVR-PRO-Password-Reset-Instructions-s/895.htmAt this point, I would recommend doing that if you can find the instructions specific for your model DVR.

KeymasterHello Area51,
Please NOTE: H.264 is not a DVR model it is a compression that almost every DVR on the market currently uses.
If you are not able to remotely view the DVR,it is most likely because you have not forwarded the ports for the DVR.
You will need to figure out what port the DVR is running on (you can typically find this in the network menu of the DVR). Once you have the port you will need to log into your router and forward that port.
If the DVR was purchased through us we will have instructions in our support and knowledge base — https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Surveillance-Knowledge-Base-s/57.htm
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks James
