How to setup remote access time limits on Geovision Webcam server

Administrator can set a remote session timeout / auto-logout / connection time limit for specific users and/or user types on the Geovision surveillance system webcam server. The webcam server is the application that allows users to login remotely to view cameras.

To set a session timeout for a user, follow these steps.

On the GV-System click on the configure button, then select System Configure > Password Setup >Local Account Edit.

Then, on the password setup screen:

1) Select the Webcam tab.

2) Choose the user that you want to enable to disable session timeouts for.

3) Set the connection time limit in seconds.

4) Click ok when done.
