    I currently have a 16 cam system with a 1TB drive the customer would like more recorded time i purchased a 4tb drive to install my question in can i use the 1tb in conjunction with the new 4tb

    Hello acgs,

    It is recommended to use Surveillance grade hard drives. You will most likely be able to use a 4 terabyte hard drive, however the failure rate will be a lot higher if it is not a surveillance grade hard drive
