Snapshot Image URL for IP Camera

A software developer contacted me this morning because he wanted to interested in using Viewtron IP cameras for a custom multiple machine installation/monitoring. He wanted to take a picture on demand using a HMI software (daqfactory by Azeotech running in Windows 7/10) and save to a jpg or bmp format file. His software has the ability to call functions using external DLL libraries.

This was the solution that I sent to him.

All of our Viewtron IP cameras have an API that can be used to integrate with any external system. There is a very simple HTTP webhook call to get a snapshot image from the IP camera on demand.
