In our experience, it is very difficult to repair a CCTV camera that has a broken cable lead because most of the time the cable is soldered to the circuit board of the camera by machine and the connections are too small to do by hand if you wanted to try to replace it. ON the other hand, it can also be difficult to figure out how the internal wiring is done on the lead to repair it. Most of the time, we replace cameras that are in the state that you are describing.
