Is it possible to multiplex three to four outdoor low lux cameras and modulate them to an unused RF channel on a cable system?

I want to go to an unused channel (i.e. 999) on my cable system to view the outdoor security cameras.

That way if I hear something outside I can go to channel 999 from any TV in the house and see my cameras. I want to view 4 cameras on the screen, so I was thinking about using a quad video multiplexer.

    Is something like that possible?

Thank you for contacting me. Yes, this is possible however, I never had much luck with modulators in the past so we stopped carrying them. If you can find a reliable modulator for your TV system, then you can use one of these multiplexers to combine the camera signals. Then connect the output of the video multiplexer to the input of the modulator.

This one works with analog CCTV and HD security cameras (1080p and 720p AHD and HD-TVI are supported).

If you are only using analog CCTV cameras, then you can save some money by using this one.

Please let me know if I can help further.
