Can I use these PAL Cameras with my NTSC DVR?

  • Hi All,

    I have designed a (no so) brilliant security system, and then realized that my Samsung SME-2220N doesn't work with the Samsung SCD-2080P dome cameras that I bought… (The DVR is NTSC, and the cameras are PAL…) (I can plug them in, but I get a black and white rolling picture…)

    So, am I hooped? Do I have to buy new cameras or is there a convertor that I can use to convert the cameras to NTSC so I can use them with this system?

    I've gone through the manuals, and I cannot seem to find any alternate settings to help with this…

    Unfortunately, there is no converter. You must use NTSC cameras with an NTSC DVR.
