I can access my DVR connected to Linksys router from laptop with XP and view everything fine, problem is with Windows 7 laptop, I get login prompt from Netsurveliance and can log in pull up menue however no video and cannot open any System menue I get error Get Config from device failed.
Maybe there is a firewall setting on your laptop that is blocking communication with the applications. Try temporarily disabling your firewall to see if that fixes the problem.
I have configured the DVR for connecting from the public network and am able to go upto the where we enter the user name and password and am able to login also. But am getting a blank screen.
What could be the reason..? Firewall is off for my system.
