Geovision Anolog PTZ Head Setup

I have Standard ROHS anolog PTZ head that is set to Pelco-D with a Zoom camera on it… Every thing works fine in moving the PTZ and zooming in and out on the camera. The problem is that I can not set the Presets to have the PTZ move. But the Zoom will work for the Preset but not the PTZ. I have done camera mapping and can work the PTZ and Zoom with the web remote software. Auto Scan and Preset seems not to be working. Is it that I may need to have an intelligent ptz than a Dummy ptz.
