I installed a GV600 (4 channel video 1 channel audio) for a friend. They stated that when they used the remote view log to play back video that audio was recoding to the two cameras that where installed. Recently they are telling me that they system is no longer recording audio to both cameras as it did in the past. To my understanding one audio channel only allows audio to record to one camera not two as my friend indicates. Am I correct or is their a way for the audio to record to both cameras from one audio input?
In this situation you can only record one audio channel. The camera channel that you relate or marry to the audio channel is configurable, meaning if you want channel 3 to be related to the microphone vs channel 1, you can do that. The mic does not have to be actually mounted near the camera you related the audio to though. Please let us know if we can help further or if you need clarification.
Thanks.
