How to make the matrix pop up on specific monitor?

Home Forums Geovision Surveillance Support How to make the matrix pop up on specific monitor?

  • Hi guys, I just added 3 monitors to the computer I'm using and added 3 remote servers to the command center, I'm trying to make the screens go to the new monitors when I start the system but instead they pop up on top of each other. I also tried changing the matrix for each server but it didn't work.

    I'm using version 8.3.3.0

    Thank you.

    Hello Phillippe,

I have listed below the setup instructions for the GeoVision Digital Matrix.

Once the Monitors are active you can set different live views and screen divisions for each monitor.

    1. On the main screen, click Configure, click Accessories, and select Digital Matrix Setting.

    2. Use the Display list to select the monitor to be configured.

    3. Select Screen Division.

    4. Drag and drop the camera numbers to the desired positions on the divisions. To clear the

assignment, drag and drop the “C” icon to that position.

    5. Select Live Mode.

    6. Repeat above steps to configure other monitors.

    7. Click OK to apply the settings.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks James

    JCHaldas,

Thanks for the info because it helped me to change some camera positions, but the problem I'm having is with the control center, because the servers are in 9 different stores and I'm watching them remotely in 9 monitors here, next month we are having 3 more stores opening and we bought 3 more monitors so I'm trying to get the new servers to open on these 3 extra monitors we just installed, but instead they are all opening on my main monitor.

    Philippe,

Are the additional monitors activated in windows?

JC, I found out how to change it, in case someone needs it in the future:

1 – Go to the Control Center bar,

2 – Click on Edit and then System Configure,

3 – From the Matrix tab you can choose the exact position where the matrix screen will pop up when you turn the system on.

    Thank y'all.

    Phiippe ,

    Thanks for the info.

    James
