    Hi.

I want to use Linux machine for viewing video remotely. We have JPEG2000 DVR. Any interesting sollutions available for Linux?

I want to install Mandriva server and let users log on remotely (from WAN) using NX client due to poor upload. As they are connected to the server they can watch video in LAN, I mean the internet connection is not overloaded as the whole traffic from DVR to server goes via LAN only. Windows server (2003 or 2008) is not worth the trouble for cameras only.

    pimpf,

Unfortunately, there is only the Windows remote clients for the JPEG2000 DVRs. There is no Linux software available as far as we know.

Please let us know if we can help in the future.

    Sincerely.

    -Mike
