    A remote security flaw / hacker vulnerability affecting some NUUO NVR Mini 2 recorders was recently discovered. A security patch via a new firmware update was quickly provided by NUUO.

    NVRmini 2 firmware version 3.9.1 and prior is vulnerable to this exploit.

    If you own a NUUO NVRmini 2, please use these instructions to check your current firmware and apply the latest patch.

    NUUO NVRmini 2 Firmware Update

    1. Log into the NVR via web browser. ( Any web browser will work for the FW update ) .
    2. On the left side menu, Click System > Upgrade. Verify the current firmware version of your NVR in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
    3. If you are going to update your firmware, use the download links below to download the firmware version for the model NVRmini 2 that you have.
    4. To update your the firmware, click on the Browse buttons and select the select the firmware .bin file that you downloaded.
    5. Press OK to start the firmware update.
