planning to buy a security camera

I’m planning to buy a security camera system and I would like to get help with regards to this. It’s my first time getting one and I’m not quite sure what I need to do and what specs I need to look into. I’m currently torn between wired and wireless security cameras. I’ve been reading a lot of stuff about security cameras and in most cases I read about how people prefer using the wireless varieties. However, some have pointed out how the hardwired camera systems tend to be more stable and more effective. Which should I choose? Would it be a good idea to use both?
