A customer contacted CCTV Camera Pros with the following question related to CCTV video processors:

I would like to ask if the following surveillance products: VM-Q401A CCTV Color Quad Processor and the VM-16RT 16 Channel Video Multiplexer with Real-time Refresh and BNC connection share the same remote controller. We would like to get these two product but only if we're sure that they don't share similar or the same remote control that would cause overlapping with each other during operation.

Please send me details so we can decide what to get from these two if not both. Also if you have other similar products that would solve the problem with Remote control issue.

They will be located in the same rack that may cause overlapping of remote control transmission.

Here is the response that CCTV Camera Pros technical support provided:

Our test engineers have run tests to confirm and have concluded that there is no interference when using a VM-Q401A and a VM-16RT in the same rack. You can use the wireless remote controls from each device without interfering or controlling the other device.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.
