Axel,

Normally the connections for RS-485 are added when the unit is being manufactured to a specific point on the PCB. If the unit did not come with the RS-485 connection from the factory , it is highly unlikely that a connection point is available internally or that the software on the dvr has the RS-485 protocol enabled.
