How to Add Dahua IP Camera to a Viewtron NVR

Viewtron IP camera NVRs support third party IP cameras that are ONVIF compatible, including Dahua IP cameras.

Follow these instructions to enable ONVIF support for your Dahua IP camera, then follow the instructions to add your Dahua IP camera to your Viewtron NVR.

1. Log into your Dahua cameras Web UI and navigate to NETWORK > SETTING > NETWORK > ACCESS PLATFORM (see below image)

2. You will need to check the ENABLE ONVIF checkbox > select SAVE.

3. Now navigate to SETTING > SYSTEM > ACCOUNT > ONVIF USER > create an ONVIF user account (username and password) by selecting the ADD USER option.

4. Once you have ONVIF enabled + an ONVIF user account setup, plug the camera into the Viewtron NVR and on the Viewtron the NVR go

NOTE: If the camera does not connect on the NVR go to START > SETTINGS > EDIT CAMERA > Click the EDIT button next to the camera and enter in the ONVIF username and password you created.
