Flashing 'M' after using event search

  • I am viewing 11 cameras remotely. After doing an event search, 2 or 3 cameras have a flashing 'M' on them. I hit the record button and the M goes away. When I look at the event list, it does not look accurate. It seems it is not recording all of the time.

    This happens each time I do an event search. Why do I have to start recording again each time?

    Flashing "M" usually indicates that you are recording based upon motion events. This is most likely why the DVR is not recording all of the time.
