HD Camera IR Reflection

If the IR LEDs are inside the dome lining the IR will bounce back and cause a glare. Take a look at the image below. You want the 4 IR LEDs on the outside of the lining. The lining prevents the LEDs from reflecting back into the lens.

If you are mounting the camera to a wall, you will need to re-position the IR panel. Refer to the image below. After removing the dome cover, the IR panel simply pulls off. You will wanted to re-position it so that the IR LEDs fit within the lining of the dome cover.
