180 Degree Camera: Best Wide Angle Outdoor Surveillance
I have recently been testing out this Viewtron 180 degree camera at CCTV Camera Pros office and warehouse. By farm this is the best 180 degree outdoor security camera that I have ever tested. It uses two 5-megapixel lenses that are stitched together to form a seamless, ultra wide angle of view. The above video was recorded at the full 8-megapixel resolution that this 180 camera is capable of. The camera was recording to one of our Viewtron IP camera NVRs to make the video. IP67 Weatherproof Rated: Best Outdoor 180 Camera
The housing of this camera is IP67 weatherproof rated which means that it can actually be submerged in water completely for a short period of time. Obviously if it can be fully submerged, it can hold up in the harshest of rainy environments. It can also be installed in very cold weather climates. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 131°F. And as you can see in the above images, the mount can be horizontal or vertically mounted (ceiling or wall mount).
There are many reasons that this is the best 180 degree security camera that I have tested.
Remote Monitoring from Mobile App
A few weeks ago, I made the above video to demonstrate the remote monitoring capability of this 180 IP camera from the iPhone app. The remote viewing and playback quality from the mobile app is outstanding.
I was in Colorado at the time and I was accessing the Viewtron IP camera system installed at CCTV Camera Pros. The IP-180-4 is one of the IP cameras connected to our Viewtron NVR. The above video shows the live security camera view and the recorded video surveillance playback from the mobile app. Although I was using the iPhone app, the user-interface and all functions are exactly the same on the mobile app for Android.

Remote Security Camera View from PC Software
While I was in Colorado, I also recorded this video which demonstrates the remote security camera viewing from the Viewtron Mac software. And yes, the Windows PC software works just as good and looks almost identical too. You can watch all of your security cameras live as well as playback recorded video surveillance software using the Viewtron VMS software for Mac and PCs.

Here are some additional features of the Viewtron IP-180-4 that make it so great.
Audio Surveillance and 2-Way Audio Capable
The Viewtron IP-180-4 has a built-in microphone and speaker. The microphone can be used to record audio. The speaker allows you to talk to people at the location where your camera is installed. The mobile app allows you to hold down a button to talk. There are also pre-recorded messages and alarm sirens built into the software that you can automatically play when an intrusion event is detected. You can also play these sounds manually by tapping buttons in the mobile app.
AI Software for Human Detection and Car Detection
The Viewtron IP-180-4 has built-in AI software that supports human detection and vehicle detection. The above screenshot was captured from the Viewtron NVR that our IP-180-4 is recording to. The green box shows the intrusion zone that we have setup in front of our office. The purple lines show the AI software detecting the cars in the parking lot. Whenever a person or vehicle is detected entering the intrusion zone, the NVR records an event.
All AI events can easily be found on the NVR by the identification on the video playback timeline and also via the analytics search feature.

AI Event Annotation in Mobile App
All of the AI events are also annotated in the mobile app and desktop software. You can see the video playback timeline above in the Viewtron iPhone app. All of the object detection / intrusion events that occurred in the timeframe that is displayed are annotated on the time line in yellow.
