The following firmware update (v 1.7) was released in 2011 for the iDVR-E4, iDVR-E8, and iDVR-E16 model surveillance DVRs.

Here is an installation guide that can be used after the firmware image is downloaded and copied to a USB thumb drive:

We recently purchased the iDVR-E4, I was wondering what is the most recent firmware version?

Hello Saedari,

Can you please provide me with the Serial # on the bottom of the DVR so I can see if we have an update available for you?

You can find the serial number on the bottom of the DVR.
