iDVR PRO Audio Surveillance Output using HDMI

A customer contacted CCTV Camera Pros today with the following question:

Our business is interested in using the iDVR PRO model surveillance DVRs with audio at several business locations. In addition to video, we also want to use an audio surveillance mic. We would like to connect the HDMI output of the DVR to a 42 inch LCD LED television. Can you please tell us if the HDMI output also supports audio?

Here is our answer:

Unfortunately, at this time the HDMI output of the iDVR-PRO8 and iDVR-PRO16 does not support audio. The RCA audio outputs must be used for this.
