I recently bought a JPEG2000 DVR 16 camera system for my pub.

I am just wondering, how to take the glare off a cash register screen so its easy to view on the montiors, just to keep a good eye on whats being rung up yknow??

Does anyone know how to do this?? Would be so much apperciated if somebody could point me in the right direction

    Creid,

Normally when you want to capture text output from a cash register or point of sale system, you use a POS surveillance module which records the actual text output on top of the video of one of the security cameras of your system. Unfortunately, there is no point of sale module for JPEG2000 DVRs.

The next best thing is to use a higher end / high resolution camera with a varifocal lens focused directly on the cash register screen. We have sold this high resolution security camera so many customers for this purpose:

If you need a camera with a larger lens because the camera will be mounted more than 20 feet away from the register, I recommend this high resolution surveillance camera:

Please let us know if we can help further.
