If you receive the following error when using the iDVR-PRO CMS software, uninstalling RealPlayer may fix this. “Service Port 20121 Already in Use”
I received the following from a customer last night who was having this problem.
Have been using my iDVR-PRO CMS software to access my camera’s via my PC for some time now with no issues. This morning I was blocked by the message “Service Port 20121 Already in Use”. Tried re-booting and all the usual simple troubleshooting steps. Then got thinking about the fact that I had downloaded “Realplayer” last night. Uninstalled Realplayer and everything went back to normal.
There is probably a more sophisticated fix but this was good enough for me.
