Hello Apachewelding,

First, please make sure the motion recording is setup correctly in the iDVR-E — https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Surveillance-DVR-Motion-Record-s/446.htm

Once setup I would suggest using the Default SMTP server. This utilizes the built in SMTP server of the iDVR-E. Please see below instructions on how to configure the Default SMTP server.

1. Log into the Network Men on the iDVR-E

2. On the Email tab select Default.

3. Now type in the email address or addresses you would like to send the alert out to.
